Role: Sales Executive
Location: Mazda Dealership, Midleton Co. Cork.

We are seeking a bright, ambitious and self-driven individual to join our award-winning Mazda Dealership as a Sales Executive for both new and used vehicles.
This role is ideal for individuals with automotive sales/finance experience who are eager to excel in the automotive industry.
Essential Requirement:
- A full Irish or EU Driving Licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in tandem with other showroom staff and take guidance and implement instructions from the Dealer Principal.
- Develop and manage customer follow-up systems to generate new and repeat business opportunities.
- Guide customers through the entire sales journey, from enquiry to vehicle delivery and post-sale care.
- Achieve sales targets for both new and used vehicles.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and details using in-house computer systems.
- Accurately appraise part-exchange vehicles and agree on values with the Dealer Principal.
- Consistently meet daily and monthly performance targets.
- Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Uphold the high standards required to succeed as a Car Sales Executive in an award-winning family run dealership.
Person Specification:
- In-person customer-facing experience in a Sales, Retail, Customer Service, or Finance setting, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer care to each and every customer.
- Previous experience presenting products to customers is highly advantageous.
- Leaving Certificate (Maths and English A1-C3) or equivalent, or a Graduate Degree.
- Strong drive to succeed in a sales career with a positive can-do attitude that will go the extra mile to achieve personal and shared business goals.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the Irish retail motor industry.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with excellent organisational and negotiation skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanour, presenting a polished and corporate image in person and over the phone.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Disciplined approach to following processes from start to finish.
- For insurance purposes, a full, clean Driving Licence is mandatory.
Previous motor industry experience is not a requirement.
O’Brien’s Garage are looking for an Experienced Qualified Motor Technician to join their team in their Mazda Dealership in Midleton. The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated and organised individual who can work both from their own initiative and as part of a team.
Roles & Responsibilities
The main roles & responsibilities will be to:
- Carry out routine servicing & maintenance on vehicles as per the manufacturer specification.
- Carry out Vehicle Health Checks (VHC).
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics and checks to identify the action required to remedy vehicle faults.
- Testing vehicles to ensure the repairs carried out were successful.
- Liaise with sales executives to ensure customers are promptly introduced.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Skills & Competencies
- Be a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician
- Experience with all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing, franchise dealer experience preferable.
- High quality work ethic with attention to detail being of utmost importance.
- Have excellent communication & IT skills, competent at identifying and clearly explaining additional work required and using our VHC system
- Be process driven and have the ability to clearly complete all job card write-ups, for all jobs, with a thorough understanding of brand warranty requirements, including back-up documentation required.
- Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a Franchised Motor Dealership
- Full Clean Drivers Licence with access to their own transport
- Good oral & written English
