O’Briens Garage Midleton Children’s Colouring Competition

Terms & Conditions

• Promoter

This competition is organised and promoted by O’Briens Garage Midleton (“the Promoter”).

• Eligibility
• The competition is open to children aged 0–18 years on the closing date.
• All entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter.
• Employees of O’Briens Garage Midleton and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
• Age Categories

Entries may be judged in the following age groups (depending on entry numbers):

• 0–4 years
• 5–8 years
• 9–12 years
• 13–17 years

The Promoter reserves the right to adjust categories if required.

• How to Enter
• Entry is free of charge.
• Participants must complete the official colouring sheet provided by O’Briens Garage Midleton (available in-store and/or online, if applicable).
• Each entry must clearly include:
• Child’s full name
• Child’s age
• Parent/guardian name
• Parent/guardian contact phone number or email
• Multiple entries per child are permitted.
• Closing Date
• The competition closes at 5:00pm on Saturday, 14th March 2026.
• Entries received after this time will not be considered.
• Submission of Entries
• Entries must be returned to O’Briens Garage Midleton in person or by post to our address (Cork Road, Midleton, Co. Cork, P25 C439).
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, or damaged entries.
• Judging & Prizes
• Winners will be selected by our Brand Ambassador: Midleton and Cork Senior Hurler Tommy O’Connell.
• Judging will be based on creativity, effort, and overall presentation.
• The judges’ decision is final.
• Prize details will be outlined on the competition promotional material.
• Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
• Winner Notification
• Winners will be contacted using the parent/guardian details provided within 7 days of the closing date.
• If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, an alternative winner may be selected.
• Publicity & Display
• By entering, parent/guardians’ consent to artwork being displayed in the showroom for two weeks and/or shared on O’Briens Garage Midleton’s social media platforms.
• First name and age only will be used unless additional consent is provided.
• Any photographs of winners will only be published with parental/guardian permission.
• Data Protection
• Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of this competition.
• Data will be handled in accordance with applicable Irish data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
• General
• O’Briens Garage Midleton reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
• Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
